There are a bunch of video’s out there already, thanks to the “HDI” (How Do I) initiative from Microsoft. In a LOT of these video’s, you see PowerShell popping up. I was interested in which ones, because, it gives you an idea in which areas PowerShell is useful. And it seems PowerShell is useful in A LOT of areas concerning Dynamics NAV ;-).

We have a configuration where NAV 2015 service runs on a NAV2015 server, NAV 2016 runs on a NAV2016 server, and sql is on different SQL servers.
Is it possible to invoke powershell commando for NAV from the client computer.
It’s absolutely possible. Just have a look at:

Dear Waldo
Do you know how to script with powershell clickonce on multitenant NAV or multitenant on clickonce?
Thank you

I haven’t had a look at it … but there is a script on the Azure Demo VM, if I’m not mistaken..
Unfortunatly it is not compatible on Azure VM you can’t have multitenant and clickonce in same demo VM.
