PowerShots 2017 just kicked off

I’m sitting in the plane, after I just kicked off my first PowerShot for NAV2017 in Sweden. It was not “the first” PowerShot of this year, because Vjeko actually started one day before me in Norway :-).

What are PowerShots?

You might have read from previous years that we (Cloud Ready Software) have been “touring” Europe, advocating various topics on NAV – with a strong focus on “Cloud Development”. You can read some overviews on my blog:

Well, also this year, we’ll be touring Europe to evangelize Microsoft Dynamics NAV. This year we have a very strong focus on “Extensions”. In fact, it is a two day in-depth training on how to prepare for and move to developing Extensions 2.0 with VS Code for Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 for Financials.

Can I join?

How was Sweden?

Well, I always look forward going to Sweden! In all aspects, it’s a great place to deliver the PowerShots:

• Very nice infrastructure
• Nice people (and I mean that :-))
• Nice food
• …

Now, this was my “first” PowerShot, and to be able to offer it in as much countries as possible, we decided this year to not do it with two or three speakers – but only one speaker. So – lots of pressure :). Is the content OK? Are the labs well-prepared? How about timing? Am I going to be able to answers questions – and which questions will there be asked? And above all: are the people satisfied?

Well – on most questions I don’t have an answer to just yet .. basically because I haven’t had any feedback on the evaluations. But my feeling was very good. I had good questions, good interactions, and during the labs, some people just didn’t want to take a break :-). Perfect attitude ;-).

I’m looking forward going back next year for sure!

And I’m looking forward to my other PowerShots in other countries.
